Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the CustomChartTrader website, checkout flow, customer access pages, downloads, license activation services, support resources, and related services.

In these Terms, "CustomChartTrader," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Edge Crafter. "You" means a website visitor, prospective customer, customer, license holder, or user of the product.

1. Product Description

CustomChartTrader is a NinjaTrader 8 chart-side trading panel built to support trading workflow tasks such as visual trade planning, risk-based position sizing, order-entry controls, stop/target planning, risk/reward preview, close partial, break even, flatten, and cancel controls.

CustomChartTrader is software. It is not a broker, exchange, futures commission merchant, introducing broker, investment adviser, commodity trading adviser, financial adviser, trading signal service, managed account service, or brokerage account provider.

Planned features are not included unless the checkout page, license agreement, or product page clearly states that they are included in the current paid version.

2. Relationship to NinjaTrader and Third Parties

CustomChartTrader is built for use with NinjaTrader 8, but it is not owned by, operated by, endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with NinjaTrader, any broker, exchange, data provider, prop firm, or trading platform provider unless expressly stated in writing.

You are responsible for maintaining your own NinjaTrader installation, broker connection, data feed, platform license, exchange permissions, brokerage account, computer, internet connection, and any other third-party services required to trade.

3. Trading Risk and No Financial Advice

Trading futures, options, stocks, forex, crypto, leveraged products, and other financial instruments involves substantial risk. You can lose money, including more than your initial deposit where leverage or margin applies.

CustomChartTrader does not guarantee profits, improve the probability of any trade, prevent losses, eliminate slippage, prevent platform errors, prevent order-entry mistakes, or ensure compliance with broker, exchange, or prop firm rules.

Any examples, screenshots, documentation, videos, demos, or support explanations are for software education and product explanation only. They are not financial, investment, tax, legal, trading, or risk-management advice.

4. Purchases and Checkout

The initial public offer is planned as a single one-time payment license. The final price, license scope, delivery method, update entitlement, machine-transfer rules, refund rules, and support scope must be published before checkout opens.

Payments are expected to be processed by Stripe or another payment provider. We do not intend to store full payment card numbers ourselves.

5. License Key, Activation, and Customer Access

CustomChartTrader may require a license key and server-side activation. Activation may bind a license to a machine identifier or hashed workstation fingerprint to reduce unauthorized sharing.

You may not share, resell, lease, publish, transfer, sublicense, or distribute your license key except where the final license terms expressly allow a transfer.

Machine transfers, deauthorization, reinstallation, and update access are governed by the EULA and final published license terms.

6. Downloads, Installation, and Updates

Download delivery is planned for a NinjaTrader 8 package or related installation files. The final download process, current version number, installation instructions, compatibility notes, and update entitlement must be published before sales open.

You are responsible for backing up your NinjaTrader workspace, strategies, templates, and related configuration before installing or updating any software.

Updates may add, change, or remove features, fix bugs, improve compatibility, or update activation behavior. Roadmap items are not guaranteed deliverables unless the final license terms expressly say otherwise.

7. User Responsibilities

  • Test CustomChartTrader in simulation before using it with a live account.
  • Verify account, instrument, order type, quantity, price, stop, target, and mode before submitting orders.
  • Understand NinjaTrader 8, your broker, your account rules, and your market before trading.
  • Protect your license key and account access.
  • Stop using the product if you do not understand what it is doing or if you believe it is behaving incorrectly.

8. Prohibited Uses

  • Copy, share, resell, sublicense, lease, or distribute the software or license key.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, bypass, or tamper with the software or activation system except where applicable law expressly allows.
  • Attempt to remove license checks, machine binding, copyright notices, or usage restrictions.
  • Use the product or website for fraud, unlawful activity, market manipulation, unauthorized account access, or violation of broker, exchange, or prop firm rules.

9. Support

Support is limited to the published support scope. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, support does not include trading advice, strategy design, market analysis, broker support, prop firm rule interpretation, custom development, guaranteed response times, emergency trading help, or recovery of trading losses.

10. Refunds and Chargebacks

Refunds are governed by the published Refund and Sales Policy. The policy must be finalized before checkout opens.

You agree to contact support before filing a chargeback so we can try to resolve download, activation, duplicate-payment, or installation issues.

11. Intellectual Property

CustomChartTrader, including its software, code, compiled files, website copy, design, documentation, screenshots, graphics, branding, and related materials, is owned by Edge Crafter or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of CustomChartTrader to you. You receive only the limited rights expressly granted in the EULA and purchase terms.

12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website, software, downloads, activation services, documentation, and support are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Edge Crafter will not be liable for trading losses, lost profits, missed trades, slippage, rejected orders, duplicate orders, platform outages, data-feed errors, account restrictions, prop firm violations, tax consequences, business interruption, loss of data, or indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages.

Liability period: 6 months from the date of purchase

13. Governing Law and Contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
